Heather Kerley works in our Darwin office. She helps injured clients throughout the NT with road and work injury compensation claims, abuse law, and public liability claims. Heather joined Maurice Blackburn in November 2018 after spending time with other law firms in Darwin and Perth. She graduated from the University of Notre Dame in 2017 and holds a Bachelor of Laws (Hons) and a Bachelor of Behavioural Science. Heather was an outstanding student at university securing first prize in public international law, second prize for top final year student, second prize in civil procedure and second prize in mental health law. While studying, Heather worked as a legal secretary and law clerk in Perth and this experience helped her build her excellent communication skills with clients. She is driven by a strong sense of compassion for injured people and is determined to break down the stigma associated with having a personal injury.
